So... when Russ and I were frozen out of our house last weekend we stayed at Mama Sues and decided to make carmel apples! Brent and Tristin and their boys and Becca and Joel and their kids came over and the fun began! It was fun seeing the kids play together and we made the best carmel apples ever!!

RANDOMNESS!!

I was looking through my camera and found some random pics I thought I'd blog from this past summer... Enjoy!
Russ and I went to the Clark Planetarium this summer! Here's a pic of Russ on the moon and me on Mars! I know... super random but it was FUN!

This is the only picture we got on our Honeymoon! It's a picture of Russ showing how manly he is in West Yellowstone!

Freeze out!

Apparently we never got our gas turned on... so Friday evening Russ got cold (I'm always cold) so we decided to turn the heat on and it didn't work and that's when we realized that our gas wasn't on... then we realized that it was Friday night so we wouldn't get heat until Monday (or if Questar is closed for Columbus day then not until Tuesday)! Then we realized that it was getting colder and colder and it was supposed to snow the next day! I was FREEZING and I'm a wuss so we packed up and went to Mama Sue's house in Kaysville for the next two nights but we came back for our church today. It is still BITTER COLD! So we are currently standing by the oven looking outside at all the snow! Hopefully Questar is open tomorrow....

More wedding pics...

I know you are probably sick of wedding pictures but we just got our pictures from our wedding day and I wanted to post a few of my favorite!

Our photographer had done one similar to this for Chelsea's wedding and wanted to do one with us too!

There was a big dancing group from Mexico that was taking pictures of us so our photographer asked them if they wanted to be in one! This is a SUPER funny picture! I love Russ's face!

HOLIDAY date

Russ told me I was in charge of our date last weekend and being the nerd that I am- I decided to do a 'themed' date of HOLIDAYS! Here's what we did:
President's Day: President's Quiz
Valentine's Day: Made valentines for each other
Easter: We were going to do an easter egg hunt but I forgot to get eggs!
Halloween: Carved a pumpkin
Thanksgiving: Made Banana Cream Pie
Christmas: Watched 'Joy to the World' and watched Russ open a present
New Years: Ate cheese fondue and sparkling cider and watched a youtube movie of the New York ball dropping!

I know I am super cheesy but it was a fun night! We only got a couple pics of the first couple things!

'I choo choo choose you!' Thanks Russ!
Carving a pumpkin at the beginning of September!

St George Weekend!

Hello Hello! Sorry I haven't posted FOREVER! We've been married almost a month now and it has been GREAT! I started work a few weeks ago and Russ started school last week. I start school this week. So life is picking up but it's so good to be together! This past weekend we went to St. George with my mom and Brother. We went to some historic sites (I know...we're cool!) then we went to Les Miserables at the Tuacahan theater! It was so much fun! Here are some of our pics (the first ones we've taken since we've been married!).

Russ is finally HOME! We were so excited to see each other! This is a picture of us after a 3 1/2 hour testimony meeting with his church history group! It was so good and it was so good to see him again!

Whitney's no good horrible very bad day!!...I think I'm going to move to Australia!

So today was my first day of Grad School. It was a lot of orientation and really overwhelming! I parked on the road past the "toaster" chapel this morning at 8:00 and booked it to class. Nine hours later I went back to my car but couldn't find my keys.... as I got closer I realized I locked my keys in the car and it was still running! (yes- for nine hours!). Then I tried calling a locksmith but before I could tell him where I was my phone died! Then I was looking at my car and I had a parking ticket on it... correction- TWO parking tickets!! Luckily my friend Mikaylie came to my rescue but it was quite the adventure!
