Ugly Sweater Party!

We had an Christmas ugly sweater party and it was awesome! Check out our UGLY sweaters!

We played 'The Newlywed Game'. Russ and I tied with two other couples for LAST PLACE!!

AQUABATS

Can you say RANDOM!!!!? Jessica's (my sister) boyfriend is manager of the AQUABATS so we went to their concert in Salt Lake last night. It was the most RANDOM thing we had ever seen but it was really entertaining! :) We went back stage and hung out with the band beforehand and got to stand up in the crows nest. The Aquabats also help with the kid show YO GABBA GABBA so we even got a picture with DJ Lance!!

It's FINISHED!

When I was in high school, my mom and I went to Texas to a quilt show and got this cute design. I started it then but then didn't finish it until this past summer and it just got quilted so now it is finally FINISHED!!!

CANDY CANES

When we were in California for THANKSGIVING we went to an old fashion candy shop where they showed us how you make CANDY CANES! It was so amazing to see! This blob of golden sugar makes 400 candy canes!! (Our cute little nieces and nephew are the ones closest to the window!!

You're probably thinking that this is a really random present but Russ's cute little nephew, Miles, has a shirt just like it and Russ told me one day that he wanted a shirt like that so I made one for him!!!

Halloween!

So I know it's a little late but I wanted to put up this cute picture of Russ's niece and nephews at Halloween! We went out to Russell's parents house for Halloween night and Jen and her kids were there so we got to see them before and after Trick or treating! Aren't they cute!

Confession...

Now that Halloween is over, you can now OFFICIALLY listen to Christmas music! Hooray! But Russ and I have been listening to Christmas music since the beginning of October! I knew I married the right man when he let me listen to Christmas October 1st! I love it!!
